I started tutoring sophomore English when I was a junior in High School. I worked in the Writing Center at PJC for two years. I was a sub at North Lamar for two years, and now I teach sophomore English. 

Throughout High School, I was lucky enough to have the best English teachers who fostered my love for the subject. I aspire to be just like them and hope that my students are able to find some joy in their literary experience. 

I am a dog mom of a spoiled yorkie named Sheldon. Yes, after Sheldon Cooper. 

When I am not teaching I love to spend time on my couch watching TV, reading books or plays, and cooking for my family and friends.
