About Me

I am a proud graduate of Prairiland High School Class of 98.  I graduated from Paris Junior College in 2000 and received my Bachelors from Texas Tech University in 2002.  I have been a teacher/coach/head coach for over 20 years in various places around the DFW metroplex and most recently worked at North Lamar ISD.  I received my Masters of Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2020.  I am currently working on my superintendent’s certificate through Texas A&M Texarkana.

I am married to my amazing wife Dee and have been so since 2006.  We have a son in high school -Anthony and a daughter in junior high -Danielle.  We have lived in Arlington, Burleson, Midlothian and now currently reside in Paris TX.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and cooking. Enjoying live music and traveling around the state and country.  I love history and being outdoors.

Here at Deport Elementary, our staff knows we play a pivotal role in your students’ lives.  Our goal is to create an exciting learning environment where all students gain the foundational skills they need to learn and grow to become continuous learners.   I am so excited to begin my journey with Prairiland ISD, working with the families, community members, and staff members in this district.  My passion is education and the ability to empower and grow lifelong learners.  I am deeply committed to a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
